Patient Advocacy

Patients and their families are increasingly playing a more active role in their health care, putting greater importance on finding reliable sources for patient information and treatment options. In many cases, patient advocacy groups can fill this need. Boston Scientific strongly supports trusted patient advocacy groups, empowering them to act as an accurate and trustworthy source of information for patients and their families. Currently, Boston Scientific supports several cardiovascular patient advocacy groups, and has developed a patient awareness campaign for people suffering with chronic pain.
Close the Gap

Boston Scientific is committed to helping "close the gap" in disparities in cardiovascular care for women, black Americans, and Hispanic/Latino Americans.
